NEW ENGLAND JURIED ART EXHIBITION - June 1, 2012

Showcasing established, mid-career, and emerging artists working in all media. Approximately 12 artists will be selected for the exhibition, each of whom will show a curated body of work or an installation. Selected applicants will also be included in an online gallery. FIRE HYDRANT DESIGN COMPETITION - March 31, 2012

Individual artists or teams are invited to submit a design to paint a fire hydrant in the Solomons-Dowell community. All designs must be inspired by life in and around the Chesapeake Bay. What artist hasn't gazed at a blank canvas filled with dread? Even when white is not emanating from an empty canvas, it is still one of the most difficult colors for an artist to utilize.
