Individual artists or teams are invited to submit a design to paint a fire hydrant in the Solomons-Dowell community. All designs must be inspired by life in and around the Chesapeake Bay. All entries will be posted on facebook and the public will be invited to vote for their favorites. A panel of judges will make the final selections, but facebook votes will be used to help choose the winning designs. Winning designers will be notified on or before April 15, 2012. Entry fee.
